Old Dominion Fechtschule

A Chapter of Selohaar Fechtschule

The Old Dominion Fechtschule (German for 'Fencing School') is a martial arts school studying and training in the traditional martial arts of Medieval and Renaissance Germany. The school focuses on the fighting techniques of the German tradition established by Johannes Liechtenauer in the 14th century. The school is a chapter of the greater organization, Selohaar Fechtschule, which is headed by Christian Tobler, internationally renowned instructor and author.


Mission Statement

It is the intent and mission of the Old Dominion Fechtschule to provide its members with the proper guidance, direction, and means to study and practice Historical European Martial Arts as set forward in the traditions and teachings of Master Johannes Liechtenauer.
